Things still to do to setup groups:
main tab Upcoming Events doesn't grab group events.
Parent Group text needs to go. If we really need subgroups then I'll try to add that back in if i can. But one of the subgroups modules was breaking groups.
Calendar is a little cumbersome. Lots of clicks to get to the actual event node.
RSVP seems to work okay.
sidebar should have a link to go back to the main page for a group from the different node types.
For Group Post panel, I started to setup a cloned quicktab, but it's not quite ready yet.
Project nodes are a little basic. Could add links to /project/issues/% where % can be project shortname
and /project/issues/search/% Not sure how to do an issue count. I'm mostly replicating how Drupal.org does projects and project issues.
